Draft analysis: written from my notes, not yet reviewed. Nothing below claims validation that hasn’t happened.

The idea

Pick a mood (tense, nostalgic, triumphant) and see progressions that create it, playable and transposable, with MIDI export.

Problem

Theory tells you which chords are allowed, not how they feel. Songwriters get stuck on the same four chords.

Target

Hobby songwriters, guitarists, beginner composers, game and film composers in a hurry.

Why now

Browser audio is good enough, and a huge number of musicians now learn on their own, online.

Business model

Free map. Paid packs (genres, MIDI export) as one-time purchases.

MVP

One page, 8 moods, 5 progressions each, playable, with a MIDI download.

Validation needed

Do musicians come back, or use it once? Would anyone pay for MIDI packs?

Risks

Mood is subjective. Plenty of chord tools exist. Low willingness to pay.

What I’m looking for

  • Music teachers
  • Songwriters willing to test

Next action

Build the 8-mood page, share it in two songwriting communities and count return visits.

Brutal verdict

Lovely as a tool, unproven as a business. It is cheap to test, so test it before anything else.
